    Based on Chengchao Iron Mine of Wuhan Iron and Steel Company,which uses pillarless sublevel coving mining mothod, as the engineering background, using GPS survey and leveling survey to establishment a surface subsidence monitoring system which has 193 horizontal displacement monitoring points as well as 95 settlement points, monitoring the center of collapse areas and surrounding areas for a period of 12 months, especially to analysis the settlement, developing process of settlement crater profile, deformation of the mine key structures, the extended relational between surface moving boundary with time and underground goaf.The general law and characteristics of surface subsidence are summarized.

    Aiming at ore extraction under complex geological conditions, considering the character of a illustrated mine, mining sequences of different levels vertically and horizontally (5 solutions in total) were analyzed by adopting numerical simulation.The best extraction solution by comparing indicators of ground stress distribution, moving rules of surrounding rocks and water pressure aggregation at void spaces were gained.The result shows that for the II3 ore body of the mine, a top-down mining sequence shall be adopted for mining levels, and the ore extraction in a level shall start from the centre and expand toward two ends.

    The fully mechanized caving face cut-hole is a special type of coal roadway.Because of its large span,thick top coal and low strength of rock features,the cut-hole's surrounding rock has low stability,and it is supported difficultly.Taken the background of Xishahe coal mine 1901 fully mechanized caving face,and based on production technology conditions, the damage law of cut-hole's surrounding rock was summarized.The effect of different cut-hole span on surrounding rock stability was simulated.The results show that along with the increasing of cut-hole span,the roof and sides plastic area and maximum displacement value increases.The stress is transfer from sides to corner of cut-hole.The corner damages serious,and it should be supported specially.The support scheme is proposed finally,and industrial test is conducted.The effect is good.

    Seepage field is an important factor, which affects the safety of tailings dam.And how to reduce the dam seepage line is the key point of the tailings dam safety management.Taken the Zhejiang Longquan tailings dam as an example, through the simulation the seepage field of tailings dam, seepage line of numerical simulation results were compared and verified with the traditional formula method's result to determine of the dam seepage line.Finally, the radiation well drainage technique was used, and it achieves the desired effects.

    The process of cavity formation by progressive large diameter empty hole spiral cut blasting is simulated by ANSYS/LS-DYNA.The intuitional graphics of the change of cavity in the explosive volume expansion process was obtained.Numerical results show that the blasting wave delivers in the form of cylinder wave, and the empty hole plays as a free surface.Meanwhile, the theory rationality of cavity formation by progressive large diameter empty hole spiral cut blasting is verified.The cavity formation process by cut blasting can be visualized in the numerical simulation study.It is expected that the result of the study can forecast the cut blasting result and optimize the design of blasting technical parameters as positive.

    The control ability of safety pillars to ground pressure activities as a point of entry to reveal the necessity of safety pillars or not by FLAC3D.The results show that ore pillars can effectively inhibit ground pressure activities of the adjacent region on the stage of pillars forming.But when the vertical height of pillars increase, the pillars deformed and failure occur, the internal strain energy stored in them will get released, and the overall stiffness of pillars will be lower.It makes the effects of the control ground pressure activities weaken and it can not play an expected role in controlling ground pressure activities as a large stiffness structure.Therefore, on the basis of a more comprehensive study on the technical issues which involves in ore pillars, it should be considered to removing them safely.

    The reliability of calculation of the UDEC has been proved by an example which about the transmitting of stress wave through a joint.Ten kinds of models with different level of roughness joints has been established based on average centerline intercept and root mean square value of relief amplitude of joint.The numerical results show that transmittivity of stress wave decreases with root mean square value of relief amplitude increasing while keeping average centerline intercept same, and also transmittivity will increases with average centerline intercept increasing while the root mean square value of relief amplitude keeping same.

    Affected by illegal mining, waste rock mixed, low productivity of ore, the increasing difficulty mining of deep ore body exploitation and slow development, the southern district of Xishimen has some production problems, such as great production pressure, low grade of raw ore, difficult to transition.Therefore, according to the analysis of rock caving feasibility, a new scheme that the upper low grade ore and the lower high grade ore are exploited simultaneously is proposed.The mining technique also improves the production capacity and realizes the objective of the simultaneous exploitation of low and high-grade ore by improving the mining method.In addition, the technical measure of excavating in sublevels simultaneous is proposed to accelerate the development process in deep part.

    -650 development tunnel in a mine with the more complex geological condition was affected by the nearby coal face of mining, and severe deformation of the surrounding rock has occurred.Two detection steps were divided that the detection of prophase fractured rock zone and late drilling visualization, the broken-rock circle and fracture development were obtained, comparative analysis derived the surrounding rock mass range extension to the deep, to be large circle, even to occur loose destruction phenomenon.Based on deep surrounding rock deformation laws and its mechanical properties, in surrounding rock stability control theory of the soft rock tunnel, to create tunnel force model and to analysis the force relationships, on which “Pass beam” structure in slop direction of face and “Part block” structure of roof after two faces roof caving.Combing with drilling detection results and observation phenomenon, summed up the tunnel deformation characteristics and result in deformation of surrounding rock.It provides science guidance and theoretical basis in secondary support, and was referenced of the similar ones.

    In order to ensure Ceheng ledges bridge demolition blasting is carried out smoothly, a common node separate model which is considering the mechanical difference between steel and concrete during blasting was established based on the ANSYS/LS-DYNA platform, then the blasting program before demolition blasting was simulated.The simulation results show that the program which shallow hole blasting and deep hole blasting in combination is entirely feasible, thus this program for blasting construction is used.Through the comparative analysis with the actual blasting process, the numerical simulation technique can verify and optimize the blasting program.It can effectively guide the blasting construction, and it has important theoretical significance and practical value.

    According to the practical problem of air leakage in the cover of Xingshan Iron Mine which was a mine translated from open-pit to underground mining, based on the theory of fluid flow in the porous media, the air leakage characteristics of the cover under the conditions of different porosity were simulated by FLUENT.The relationship between cover thickness and air leakage coefficient under the condition of different porosity was obtained.It is of great significance to instruct the cover formation of open-pit to underground mining.

    According to Dagushan open-pit mine broken zone of stability issues in rainstorm, hydraulic characteristics on the impact of the stability was simulated by FLAC2D.The  results show that the content of clay mineral is largely influenced hydraulic characteristics of rock, high content of clay mineral reduce its water stability, thus affecting the its stability.With water content increase, the slope of strength reduced gradually.Factor of safety also decrease with the increase of water content.When the moisture content reaches 7.39%, factor of safety is 1, and the slope is in limit equilibrium state.When the moisture content is larger than 7.39%, the slope failure happens.

    The final slope angle of Jinxin open-pit molybdenum mine of Chifeng Jingxin Mining Co., Ltd.of Sinosteel Corporation is determined by numerical simulation.If the final slope angle was too smaller, the amount of rock mass to be removed was too large, so the mine had been running at a very low efficiency.The 2D finite element elasto-plastic program (PHASE2) was used to determine the final slope angle, and the application of 2D limit equilibrium method to determine the final slope stability coefficient.The numerical results show that the final slope angle of upper plate should not be beyond 48°, and that of the lower plate should not be beyond 50°, and their average stability coefficients are 2.99, 3.49, respectively.It proves that the method is simple, intuitive, fast and reliable.

    Clay-rock cemented and pumped filling materials are stirred to mix well,with broken rock in the mine for aggregate,yellow-clay for bonding material,concrete for cementing material and a certain amount of water.Base on laboratory experiments and in-situ pumping in the underground for seven kinds of proportion,mechanical and pumping property were analysed in this paper.Study indicates that,this fills have the advantages such as high pumping mortar density,fast initial set,high strength,well pumpability,little frayed pipe.Better effect had been obtained.

    The rock mass in the drilling tunnel foot wall in Baluba copper Mine (CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Pls.) is broken, its feature of weathering making the rock easily collapsed, and it is susceptible to argillitizated and disintegrated contacted with water.The traditional grouting bolt can not satisfy the requirement of tunnel stability, so the pre-stressed bolt-provide active support was adopted.The excavation and support process was stimulated by FLAC3D, and analyzing and comparing the different mechanical principles between full-length pre-stressed anchored grouting bolt and general grouting bolt in controlling the tunnel deformation.The numerical result shows that pre-stressed bolt can reduce subsidence of the roof more than 10 mm, which is about 2 times as long as general grouting bolts.Therefore, it is necessary and effective to use the pre-stressed grouting bolt in area of broken rock.Finally, to achieve better supportive effect, shotcrete must be injected to roof and side walls, which is called the combined support.

    College of Resources and Civil Engineering, Northeastern University The properties of Cu-Pb-Zn polymetallic ore with high sulfur from Inner Mongolia are complex, in which metal minerals are associated with each other closely.The study on mineral processing techniques was conducted by the flowsheets of Cu-Pb bulk flotation-separation of Cu amd Pb-sulfur depression Znic flotation.The results show that Cu-Pb bulk flotation with once roughing flotation, four times cleaning flotation and once scavenging flotation, Cu-Pb separation with once roughing flotation, once cleaning flotation and once scavenging flotation, and the flowsheets of sulfur depression and Zn flotation with once roughing flotation, four times cleaning flotation and once scavenging flotation,middlings urderly returm,can obtain  the high quality productions as Cu concentrate, Pb concentrate, Zn concentrate and sulfur concentrate, in which contents of impurity elements are low.

    A high-sulfur copper mine in Jiangxi gradually shift to underground mining,as the ore properties has changed greatly, on-site process is difficult to adapt to the changes in the nature of selected ore, resulting in decreased copper recovery rate.In view of this situation, with the overall pattern of process remains relatively stable, then study on the application of new efficient collecting agent PLQ-4, also optimize and transform middlings regrinding reselecting system.The results show that using PLQ-4 substitute parts of butyl xanthate, add more middlings directly to the regrinding system, reduce the unsolved eventually get away from the unnecessary cycle of copper minerals in the process,eventually obtain a copper concentrate grade of 22.75%, copper recovery rate of 83.85% ,Compared with the laboratory parameters in the simulation under technology conditions of the site, with equal copper concentrate grade, the copper recovery rate improved by 2.82.

    The Cu and S in a copper sulphide ore with pyrrhotite which is located in Inner Mongolia are difficult to be comprehensive recovered because of rising sulfur.Carried out the comprehensive recovery and technical condition research. The results show that, when the bulk concentrated is reground to 75% -74 μm, use QP-03 as collectors ,X activator as activator of gangue and then treated by once roughing twice cleanings and once scavenging flowsheet for Cu, once roughing once cleaning and once scavenging flowsheet for S, middling product returned in the order, the copper concentrate of Cu 20.81%、S 38.81%with a recovery of 92.97% and the sulphur concentrate of S 34.37% 、Cu 0.34%with a recovery of 52.49% are obtained.

    Based on the analysis to a fine-disseminated copper ore with Cu grade 0.52%, molybdenum grade 0.028% from xinjiang, carried out the research on floatation process. The results show that: under the conditions of grinding fineness of -0.074mm 90.60%, buty1 xanthate and Z -200(mass ratio 1∶4) as collectors, through once roughing three times cleaning twice scavenging, middlings orderly return, can get the Cu-Mo mixed concentrate with Cu grade 20.52%, recovery 92.54% and Mo content 0.95%, recovery 78.04%.

    The relationship of crystal structure, physico-chemical properties and floatability of MgO-containing silicate gangue minerals in copper-nickel sulfide ores was analyzed, possible ways of magnesium silicate mixed into flotation concentrate in copper-nickel sulfide ores flotation and corresponding countermeasures were summarized, the activating mechanism of metal ions on magnesium silicate and deactivating methods were emphatically researched.Finally an effective method was obtained.In this method, an efficient metal ions complexing agent is used to clean the surfaces of minerals, which will recover their original floatability.In the meantime, a selective depressant is applied to depress magnesium-containing gangue minerals.This may be the effective approach for depressing magnesium-containing silicate minerals in copper-nickel sulfide ore floatation.

    Through the research on the digestion process of a bauxite ores from laos, found the suitable digestion conditons to this kind ore: under the conditions of digestion temperature 150 ℃, digestion time 40 min, addition of lime 3%, concentration(m/V) of circulating mother liquor caustic alkali 220 g/L, molar ratio of mother liquor sodium oxide to alumina 3.40, proportioning solid content 350 g/L, proportioning molar ratio of sodium oxide to alumina 1.45, the digestion rate of Al2O3 can achieve to 80%.

    Aiming at a large alkaline granite type tantalum niobium zirconium deposit with characteristic of complex ore chemical composition, fine dissemination size of useful mineral, poor dissociation of useful minerals and gangue mineral, fine grinding - desliming - bulk flotation of tantalum and niobium, zirconium was used to process this ore.A bulk concentrate with 9.43% of Nb2O5 and 24.95% of ZrO2 and 0.36% of Ta2O5 with a recovery of 77.66% Nb2O5 and 76.70% ZrO2 and 75.13% Ta2O5 was obtained by closed-circuit test from the raw ore with grade of 1.17% Nb2O5 and 3.12% ZrO2 and 0.046% Ta2O5.

    To resolve the problem of lower technological and economic indicators in beneficiation of a fine and refractory graphite ore that was exploited for a long time in Sichuan, the times of regrinding and cleaning, the treatment process of low-grade middling and whole closed trial were studied on the basis of roughing conditions trial.The fixed carbon content of the graphite ore sample was 22.46%.The results show that finally the graphite concentrate of fixed carbon grading at 90.47%with recovery of 87.34% was achieved through the whole closed trial, which was once rough grinding ,once roughing and once scavenging, then five times regrinding and six times cleaning to the rough concentrate, one more regrinding and scavenging to the mix of the middling(1~4) and the concentrate of this scavenging merges with the rough concentrate, the middling(5~7) returns to the second regrinding.

    Anionic collector LSMFS containing hydroxyl, carboxyl and sulfate groups was synthesized mixed with a cheap fatty acid soap to be a new carbonate phosphate collector LG-01.A carbonate phosphate from Guizhou with P2O5 grade 25.31% was taken as the research object and reverse-flotation tests on the ore was carried out.And then the main component of combined collector LG-01 onto carbonate phosphate surface was respectively discussed by IR.Laboratory tests show that the combined collector LG-01 is a low toxicity and efficient collector which not only has wide variety of sources, low cost, but also is not sensitive to temperature.The high-quality phosphorus concentrate with P2O5 grade 34.79%, MgO 1.01% and recovery 90.64% was obtained through single flotation.

    Discussed in detail geological characteristics, ore types, texture and structure of ores, major chemical composition, iron physical phases, mineral composition and content, major mineral distributing, disseminated grain size of magnetite and dissociation characteristics of Xiaoshalong iron deposit in Qinghai Province. Some contrast tests of multiple mineral processing flowsheet for iron ores were conducted. The research shows that magnetite is fine grained and most microgranular dense or sparse dip in the gangue minerals, and closely embedded with other minerals. The disseminated grain size of magnetite is fine relatively, so the single degrees of magnetite would relatively adequately approach 85% when grinding fineness that is 0.028 mm accounted for 85%. Two-stage grinding and separation process is more concise, and superior energy consumption and economic indicators.

    The quadtree algorithm is applied to separate the entire region of DEM data into static block,and construct TIN for various sub-blocks.By using VDPM,the simplified algorithm,it has simplified the creation of hierarchical model with different resolution from TIN.Then the quadtree algorithm is applied to establish an effective spatial index model to display dynamic scheduling.When the viewing position changes,the quadtree structure could be adjusted in real time in order to achieve real-time visualization of the terrain.Multi-resolution LOD algorithm can not only simplify the data,but also make the three-dimensional visual effects closer to the real terrain.

    In order to assuring the effect of cyclonic separation in cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column for large-scale industrial application, multi-cyclonic separation structure was designed to replace the original single cyclonic separation structure.Numerical simulation and comparative analysis of the two cyclonic separation structure were carried out by FLUENT software, and the results show that:Velocity of multi-cyclonic separation structure cross section and central longitudinal profile is significantly higher than single cyclonic separation structure, so its cyclonic force field and mineral flotation rate is bigger than single cyclonic separation structure.The internal turbulence strength is also significantly stronger than single cyclonic separation structure, so multi-cyclonic separation structure is more beneficial to strengthening mineralization effect and increase the separation index of fine mineral.

    Iron content of Meishan tailings is relatively high, because of high content of weakly magnetic iron minerals in Meishan iron ore.These tailings were treated by Meishan iron concentrator using high intensity magnetic separation, and re-concentrate with 31.80% iron grade were produced.Then deep reduction was used to treat reelection coarse concentrate.The results show that the reduced materials with metallization rate up to 89.20% was obtained under the optimal deep reduction conditions such as reducing temperature 1 275 ℃, reducing time 60 min, thickness of material 30 mm and carbon coefficient 2.0.Iron powder with a TFe grade 80.05% at an iron recovery 98.03% was achieved after one-stage low intensity magnetic separation.

    Based on the research on the ore properties of a molydbenum tailings from henan, carried out the dressing tests to recover molybdenum, sulfur and tungsten minerals. The results show that molybdenum concentrate with 48.35% grade and 61.24% recovery, sulfur concentrate with 38.72% grade 84.81% recovery, tungsten concentrate with 48.70% grade 78.16% recovery can get through the closed circuit process of slelective flotation to molybdenum, sulfur and tungsten when grinding the ore sample to -200 mesh accounting for 70%.

    According to the feature of a iron tailings after magnetic separation with copper thickness of inequality,high secondary copper sulfide, and part of chalcopyrite wrapped by pyrite, before the original process of Cu-S bulk flotation-Cu-S separation added speed flotation, and corried out the optimized research on regrinding of mixed concentrate and separation process.     Taking extracted vanadium residue from Panzhihua vanadium dregs as raw  material,using the system of sulfuric acid and helper leaching agent to conduct  the experimental research of the acid leaching to extract the vanadium. The  results  show that mixed sulfuric acid and helper leaching agnet C can destroy  the wrapping of vanadium, and promote the H+ reaction and leaching vanadium.  Under the conditions of helper leaching agent C dosage 4%, sulfuric acid  concentration 15%, liquid to solid ratio 1.5 mL/g, leaching temperature 90 ℃ and  leaching time 2h, the leaching rate of vanadium is 73% and 18 percent poits  higher than direct acid leaching technology. The leaching results are ideal.

    Belite cement prepared by iron tailings from Hubei province was studied, the effects of the ratio of raw materials, the calcining temperature, the activator gypsum on the properties of cement clinker were also investigated.The results show that the belite cement with compression strength meet the requirements of PI42.5R cement at the age of 3 and 28 d could be prepared in the optimum condition of 30.90% iron tailings, 69.10% limestone, and 0.60% activator gypsum equivalent the mass of clinker, calcining 1h under 1 350 ℃.The result of XRD of clinker present the same main mineral with the conventional Portland cements, besides the more content of belite mineral.
